New To DVD, Blu-Ray, Download and On Demand Today (January 24th) Real Steel starring Hugh Jackman.  Thanks to DreamWorks Studio’s, I was sent a copy of Real Steel on Blu-Ray Combo Pack to review.  This past weekend we (including myself, my husband and my 4 1/2 year old son) sat down to watch.  Both my husband and I enjoyed this film a lot.  Colin would watch a bit off and on.  He really enjoyed the parts where the Robots were fighting and the music.  His favorite part is where ATOM the robot would dance!  This is a great movie for the whole family to watch and is rated PG-13 (I think for the fighting of the Robots and a few other fights).  Other than that I think that the movie would be good for the whole family and ends with a happy ending!!

Did you know that a Brachiosaurus weighed up to 80 tons and a T-Rex could eat up to 500 pounds of meat in one bite?  Avid fans of “Dino Dan,” Nick Jr.’s adventure-filled live action/CGI series, do!  Now, the popular “paleontologist approved” show is coming to DVD with “Dino Dan – Dino Trackers,” the premiere title in a brand new series from NCircle Entertainment.

Thanks to NCircle Entrainment, we were sent a copy of Dino Dan-Dino Trackers DVD to review and one for giveaway too!  Colin was super excited to see this delivered to our house.  Almost every weekday we watch Dino Dan on TV and has become a favorite in our household.  Colin’s cousin is a big Dinosaur fan and so has struck Colin’s interest into them a bit too!  I have learned quite a bit about Dino’s too from watching Dino Dan.  After watching a few episodes I do think that this series would be more for the School Aged kids and possibly the older Preschool child.  I think this more since this is not as much of an animation.  The dinosaurs are digital the closest thing to annimation.  I know when Colin was younger if it was not total animation… He would not watch.

The “Dino Dan – Dino Trackers” DVD contains five adventure stories featuring a boy nicknamed Dino Dan (played by Jason Spevack).  He’s a curious 10-year-old who imagines there are real dinosaurs living all around him – but only he can see them!  The DVD’s interactive bonus content adds to the enjoyment.  It is priced at $12.99 suggested retail.
