Today is President’s Day so I thought it would be neat to find some crafts you can do with the kiddo’s today to help pass the time if they are home like mine is today.

Red White and Blue Scissor Skills Projects (Ages 2+) from DLTK Kids

Materials:

children’s scissors,
construction paper — you can prechoose the color or let the kids pick their own
glue,
paper and printer

Cherry Tree Paper Craft from DLTK Kids. There are two versions of this craft: one for the younger and one for the older kids. Visit HERE for all the directions and patterns.

Materials:

printer,
paper,
scissors,
glue,
something to colour with (for B&W version and to add grass, sun, etc).
Tissue Paper Version only – you will also need:
- tissue paper in red and green (about 1/2 a standard sheet of green and 1/4 of red).
- standard pencil with an eraser
