I chose a different name for this project because I think you can do pretty much about anything you want with the ornament. The once pictured above is called Christmas in Paris Ornament from Plaid.  I think this would be cute to fill with family pics too!

Twig Christmas Tree

How cute is this Christmas Tree Twig Art from At Home With K?  These would be easy to make and would make great gifts.  Check out the full directions HERE.  If you did not have access to the beadboard you can just use cardstock and a frame found around the house or thrift shopping.   If you attempt do send in pics to me :)

houses

I just love printable decorations since they are easy to make and do not break the bank.  Check out these cute printable Gingerbread Houses from We Love To Illustrate.  One tip I suggest is that you print the gingerbread houses on cardstock.  I love how you can even add ribbon to make this in to an ornament.

stocking-10

How cute are these stockings?  These are made from Sweaters and was featured on The Complete Guide to Imperfect Homekmaking.  She just took old sweaters that she or her kiddo’s grew out of and hand stitched them.  I love how no sewing machine is needed since I do not have one…but can hand stitch.  Head on over and learn how to make the Sweater Stockings.

If you do not have sweaters you want to part with…check yard sales and second hand stores.  We have one that sells them cheap.  I love the stocking with buttons!

These Easy Felt Trees are so pretty and found on Work It Mom made by Leah.  She found these in a catalog and were more than she wanted to pay… so she got crafty and made her own.  Only a few supplies are needed and super easy to make.  Your kiddo’s can even help with gluing on the felt circles.  What I love about this project is you can make any color felt tree.  I would love to make some grey and cream with sparkles!
