You may have heard from a family member or a friend that nothing in the world is really free and with most retail chains that is the truth. Though it is important to note that throughout the year companies may offer various ways that you can get free gifts entirely for free.
Making Minimum Purchases
Companies love to spoil their loyal customers, especially the people that spend a lot of money at one time at their store. If there are any free gifts to be received from different companies they will generally be as a reward for making a minimum purchase at their store. For example, getting a free cosmetics bag when you buy at least $100 worth of makeup. The minimum purchase requirements will differ depending on the products that they have available as some sites may have $25 as the purchase amount and others may have upwards of $750.
When you are a frequent customer at a particular store, you are obviously giving that company a lot of money and in order to make sure that you stay loyal to their products and/or services, they are willing to offer benefits. Signing up for rewards programs from all of your favorite stores is a great way to make sure that you get the most out of every order that you make. Generally you’ll collect points for each order and in most cases 1 point is equivalent to $1. After these points accumulate you may be able to redeem them for free gifts. There are also times when companies will simply give their members free gifts for signing up for their rewards programs, especially if there is a membership fee.
Finding the Right Products
Even though it may not be an additional “gift” that you’ll get for free, finding products that are included in buy one, get one offers is another great way to make sure that you get free products with every purchase. For example, if you find a shirt that is regularly priced you may want to consider opting for the shirt that gives you the ability to get a second one for free instead so you’re only paying for one. This method of getting free gifts depends on the promotions that the store is currently offering and if they have an array of buy one, get one products available.
