About Me

Hello! My name is Anne, and I am a mother of a 5- year old boy Colin. I have been married to my husband, Craig, for over 8 years. My husband works for the federal government. After moving away from my home town and a short time int he work force, I decided to be a stay at home mommy the summer of 2009. In order to make it so to say, I have found many ways to cut costs at home by using coupons and watching for sales online. My husband and I have been so amazed on now much we can save on the everyday items we need and use. I have even started helping a local woman’s housing program with items they need for those who are living there.

I have a BA in English.. I have the misspellings just to see if you can notice ;p I attended the University of Southern Indiana for an Elementry Education Degree but just shy of one year decided that is what I wanted to be when I grew up. I then finished my BA in English up online with the Thomas Edison State College. I do not regret my years in Elementary Education which helped develop my love for Children’s Literature and Crafts!

My blogging adventure started in November 2009. I started this blog since many of my friends were asking all the time where I found my deals and freebies. I have found many sites that have helped me save a bunch and want others to get these great deals and savings. It has been a great ride watching Deal Wise Mommy grow and can not wait to see what the future holds.
