Easy Owl-Ween Treats found on Southern Living.  These are super cute and look easy to make.

Halloween Candy Apples-from My Recipes


  • 8 wooden craft sticks
  • 8 medium Gala apples
  • 2 (6.5-ounce) packages caramel apple wraps
  • 1 (16-ounce) chocolate bar
  • 16 ounces vanilla bark coating
  • Orange paste food coloring
  • Toppings: colored sprinkles, chopped peanuts, black writing gel

Mini Carmel Apples- I found this one on Glass Slipper Cakery

4-inch lollipop sticks
Melon baller
Granny Smith OR Red Delicious apples (one apple makes about 8 mini apples)
3 oz. Peanut butter chips

2 tsp. shortening
Paper towels
Nonpareils OR sprinkles
Empty egg carton
Kitty Litter Cake- This one looks like a gross one but I have heard it is a big hit.  My uncle made one like this for this work.. Note-use a new litter box and scoop 😉


1 box spice or German chocolate cake mix

1 box of white cake mix
1 package white sandwich cookies
1 large package vanilla instant pudding mix
A few drops green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls or equivalent


1 NEW cat-litter box
1 NEW cat-litter box liner
1 NEW pooper scooper

Harvest Snack Mix-from Taste Of Home


  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1/2 cup sunflower kernels
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate bridge mix

What You Need

Mozzerella Eyeballs-found on Squidoo

1 pound cherry-sized fresh mozzarella balls
12 pimiento-stuffed green olives, cut in half
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
A couple splashes of balsamic vinegar, if desired.

Mummy Hot Dogs: Found on Joy’s Life

little mummy hot dogs by wrapping cooked hot dogs in strips of Pillsbury Crescent Roll dough and baking them until they looked done.  Then I dotted on some mustard for eyes and applied some cookie decorations for more eye depth.

1 oz Brandy
1 oz Blood Orange Puree
2 oz GranGala Triple Orange Liqueur
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1-12 oz Bag of Dark Chocolate Chips
1 Orange Truffle or Chocolate-Dipped Orange Slice
1 Plastic Spider (optional)
